Not sure how to describe your level? Read the descriptions below and pick the one that sounds most like you. It helps us recommend the right lesson, group size or surfari, and it makes your first message to us much easier.

Non surfer

I swim very well, but I have never surfed before. I need surf lessons.

Beginner I

I surf occasionally, mainly in the white water near the lineup. I'd like to improve my skills.

Beginner II

I surf frequently and can handle different wave sizes and some light currents. I'm learning to read and ride the green face of the waves, but I still need some assistance.

Beginner III

I can catch my own waves without assistance, but I still struggle with turning and timing on the green face. Reading whether a wave breaks right or left is my weakness.

Intermediate I

I'm starting to understand the ocean, the breaks and the currents better. I can ride and read waves well, but I'd like some tips to improve.

Intermediate II

I surf very frequently and know how to turn up and down the wave. I'm looking for better style and more radical maneuvers, and I'm comfortable in almost any condition.

Intermediate III

Surfing is almost what I do for a living. I really enjoy 8–10 ft waves and getting barreled, and I'm looking for the next level. I adapt very fast to conditions and can ride longboards, shortboards, fish and even some SUP surfing.

Advanced I

I surf a lot: carving, late drops, re-entries, exits and high-performance surfing, with some airs and great style.

Advanced II

I'm a pro surfer. Surfing is what I do for a living.

XXL Pro

I ride giants. I'm not afraid of waves up to 20 ft, and I can surf anything.

If you're between two levels, choose the lower one. You'll catch more waves and have more fun.
